King Mackerel Fishing Report
The King Mackerel fishing will soon be starting to heat up, with the warming waters coming in close to the beach. They will first be present about 40 miles off, and continue to move closer throughout the year. These fish will start off being cookie cutters around 8-12 lbs., but will show up in June and July as the larger 20-30 lb fish and will stay here until November. We will target these fish using dead cigar minnows, as well as assorted species of live bait.
